# GCM V2 Custom pixel Integration for Google Tag manager

In case you have the **GTM container added** in the store **via a Custom pixel**, refer to the below steps on **how to integrate it** with the **GCM V2** as well. 

# Creating a custom Pixel

1. Go to store **Settings**

2. Open the **Customer events** section

3. Select the **Custom pixels** tab

4. From the top right select the **Add custom pixel** option

5. Name the custom pixel `GTM tag - Consentmo GCM V2`

6. Hit the **Add Pixel** option

7. After that, copy the content of the file below and paste it in the newly created Pixel:

8. In the script, change the `const GTM_ID = 'GTM-XXXXXXX';` with the actual GTM container ID you run in the store

9. For the pixel **Permissions**, make sure to set this part to **Not required**

10. **Save and Connect** the pixel

# Original GTM Pixel

If **in the original GTM pixel** you have events that are set to record different aspects of the visitor session, as per the [Shopify guide](https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/promoting-marketing/pixels/custom-pixels/gtm-tutorial), you can move them in the new pixel.

|| The script for the GCM V2 custom pixel that is provided by us already has the following events included:

* page_viewed
* product_viewed
* collection_viewed
* search_submitted
* cart_viewed
* product_added_to_cart
* checkout_started
* checkout_contact_info_submitted
* checkout_address_info_submitted
* checkout_shipping_info_submitted
* payment_info_submitted
* checkout_completed

If any event is missing from the ones you are tracking, you can **copy them from the original pixel** and add them **after the script for the custom pixel from our app**, as shown here:
