# Microsoft Clarity Integration from Consentmo GDPR



# How it works

By using our Microsoft Clarity integration, you will ensure that the service will only be loading and recording the visitor session only once the Consentmo GDPR cookie banner is accepted.

All cookies from the service will also be blocked so no tracking for the current session is active before consent. 

|| ⚠️NOTE: The following integration will work properly if the Microsoft Clarity is added only via the Consentmo settings. If you have it running from any other 3rd party app, sales channel, or scripts in the theme, you need to disable it from there and have it running only via our app.


# Integration Steps
 

1. Open **Integrations** tab.

2. Click on **Microsoft Clarity** section

3. Click on the **Enable** button

4. **Add** the project **ID**

5. **Save** the changes

* If you have **difficulties with locating the Project ID**, you can **check your Project settings**. 

In the **Overview section**, the ID can be found and copied:
