Geolocation

With the cookie bar now running in your store, your next step is to configure the locations where it will be visible.

Go to the the Settings tab

Geolocation section

In the "Choose the region for your cookie bar" set the regions where the cookie bar will be visible

Available options

As of the moment, the available regions where the cookie bar can be enabled are the following:

Globally - Enable For All Countries (If you need the cookie bar to be shown globally).
EU/EEA + UK + Swiss (GDPR) - This option includes the following countries from the EU + EEA: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom
Brazil (LGPD)
Canada (PIPEDA)
Japan (APPI)
Australia + New Zealand (APA-NZPA)
Thailand (PDPA)
South Africa (POPIA)

USA

California Visitors (CCPA-CPRA)
Virginia (VCDPA)
Colorado (CPA)
Connecticut (CTDPA)
Utah (UCPA)
Florida (FDBR)

Why is that important

It's important to have the settings here correct to make sure the cookie bar is showing in all the regions you are operating in, and where the banner is required.

For example, the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has strict guidelines that businesses must adhere to. By ensuring that the cookie bar appears for visitors from the regions you serve, you not only respect the user privacy but also making sure that you will not have any legal issues.
