6. Integrate Google, Meta Pixel, etc
Tracking added via Shopify
If you have added Google, Facebook, TikTok, or any other Pixel tracking through the Online Store > Preferences, or via any of the native Shopify Sales Channels dedicated to adding tracking services for the store, the integration with our app can be set as follows:
Navigate to your store's Settings
Go to Customer Privacy
In the Cookie Banner Section
Select More actions > Set custom banner regions
In the modal, choose the regions where you want the data to be collected by Shopify only after consent and click Save, as shown here:
NOTE: For users that have the Consentmo app installed after 12/12/2024, please follow these steps instead.
Navigate to the Settings tab of our app
Open the Geolocation section.
Choose the regions where you want the cookie bar to be displayed for and data to be collected only after consent and Save the changes.
After 12 December 2024 our app is already integrated with the Shopify API which allow you to set the regions where you need the Shopify Customer Privacy settings applied, to be set directly from the app settings.
The update is applicable for installation made after the above date only.
Tracking via scripts in the Theme files
