ADA & WCAG - Accessibility Statement

Once you have the Consentmo GDPR app Web Accessibility enabled, you can navigate to the Statement section in the tab settings from where you can generate an Accessibility statement page for the store as well.



Generating the page



NOTE: make sure the business contact details for the store are added correctly before generating the Statement page. ⬇️





Linking for easy customer access




Once the page is generated, from the drip down menu, you can select the link for the page that will be linked in the widget footer:



NOTE: If you select the None option from the drop down menu, a basic statement which is default for the widget will be linked to it, and it will not correspond to the store specifics and is not editable!






As per the law requirements, it is best to set the link in the Footer menu of the store as well.


This can be done by following the steps in the part called: Final Step: You must manually add this link to your footer

Edit the Accessibility statement page


If you need to Edit the page, it can be found in the Online store > Pages, along with all the other pages of the store, and can be edited like any of them as well:
