Another important part of the setup of our app is to configure the buttons available for the visitors in the Cookie banner and the Preferences popup as well.

The ones available in the Cookie banner are Accept, Reject, and Preferences.

Cookie banner buttons - configuration

The buttons setup for the cookie banner can be configured from the Consent banner tab > Behavior section.

There you have numerous options for buttons configurations as shown below:



Depending on your preferences and the local laws you are complying with, you can select the option that will suit your needs best.

The setup we are recommending is the first option there, which is to have the options Accept / Reject and Preferences.

"X"(close) icon

ou can also configure the behavior when your visitor clicks the Close/X button of the Cookie banner.

You can enable and configure it from

Consent banner tab

Behavior section

In the Interaction and display controls, toggle On or Off the Show close icon option, depending on your preferences

Open Show advanced settings

Set the Default mode for the close icon option

The example below shows how the Close/X can be enabled and configured as per your preferences:

The buttons in the Preferences modal are the same for all layouts and can not be changed.

In the cookie banner settings, the visitor has the options for:

Save my choice

Reject all

Accept all

Buttons content

Another important part of the button's configuration is the text content each button has.

This one can be configured from the Cookie banner tab > Content section, as shown below:
