DSAR pages link for each language

Setting up a multilingual store includes changing many elements, including legal pages like the DSAR (Data Subject Access Requests) page, to cater to different languages.

By customizing the DSAR page link for each language, you ensure clarity and compliance for a diverse customer base.


Add the script in the theme files:



Download the script provided below;

Download DSAR pages link for each language script

Add the script in the theme.liquid file of the store, after the opening <head> tag

In the script, for the variable DSARPageLinksTranslations, add the respective ISO codes and page URLs for each language
ISO Language Codes



Save the changes

NOTE: Make sure to remove the added code before deleting the app. This way, no snippets of code will be left in your theme. For more information on what you should be aware of when deleting our app check this article of our FAQ page.


How to translate the pages?



First and foremost, make sure that the original page is set in the original/default store language - Changing the Language of the DSAR Pages and Request emails

Once the above is set, you can proceed with translating it to the other languages of the store as well and follow these guidelines:

The page can be translated with any 3rd party translation solution through out the Shopify app store.

Make sure the translation app you are using provides, the option for translating policies and pages.
