Multilingual translation for the Consentmo GDPR app
If you have more than one language in the store and need to translate the cookie bar to all of them, please check the guide below:
First and foremost, you need to make sure that the Default store and Default cookie bar language are the same!
Go to the Settings tab
Locate the Language section
In the part of the page Set language for the cookie bar & preferences popup select the default store language (as set in Shopify settings)
Once the above is set, and you need to add more languages in which the cookie bar need to be translated to please follow the below steps:
Go to the Settings tab
Locate the Translations section
In the Multilingual section, turn On the multilingual support
Select the language detection method from the following:
From browser preferences
From IP Address (geolocation)
From URL (domain.myshopify.com/en)
From store language (locale) - Recommended if you are already using a 3rd party translation app
In the Extra languages section, hit the Add Extra language button and select the additional languages you have published for the store.
Once the languages are selected, make sure to toggle them On as well.

If any of the Extra languages are showing with an Unpublished label, please make sure to enable them from the store settings, as shown here:
For each Extra language, you have the option to:
Edit the translated content
Google translate (available in Plus and Enterprise plans)
Remove the language from the list
Free plan - Not included
Standard plan - Unlimited languages, manual translations for all languages that are not part of the list in the Language section
Plus and Enterprise plans - Unlimited languages, automated Google translate option for all extra languages
