Consentmo GDPR app: Adaptive Mobile Experience

The Adaptive Mobile Experience feature is a new addition to the Consentmo GDPR app designed to improve mobile users' experience. It offers a banner that mimics the native OS experience, making it easier for users to opt in and opt out of consent requests.

Enabling the Native Mobile View can significantly boost mobile user acceptance rates by providing a more intuitive and seamless experience. This feature ensures that the consent banner is user-friendly and matches the look and feel of the user's device.

Will the Native Mobile View affect the desktop version of the consent banner?

Desktop users will continue to enjoy the same customizable banner you have set up. This approach ensures that mobile and desktop users receive the best experience tailored to their devices.

To enable the Native Mobile View feature:

Navigate to the app settings in the Consentmo GDPR app.
Go to the Adaptive mobile experience tab.
Turn on the Native mobile view feature, as shown below:

The feature is applicable to all our paid plans. However, you can test it under the Free plan for 14 days.

The options that are regarded in the AME from the app setup are:
- Accept button behavior
- Initial State of the Cookie Categories
- Translations set in the Consentmo settings

Everything else is custom in order to provide the most simplistic user experience on mobile. For example, custom texts set in the app will only be available for the Desktop users.

NOTE: At the moment multilingual translations, from 3rd party apps, if you have such for the store, will also not be applied for the Adaptive Mobile Experience. Our team is currently working on it and it will be available as well soon.
