Enabling the theme extension (app embed) will load the scripts directly from Shopify’s CDN network, ensuring the app will run smoothly in your store.

Enabling from the app settings

You can do this from the Dashboard of the app, as per the steps below:

1. Once the installation is complete, you will be redirected to the Dashboard of the app

2. In the Cookie banner part on top, hit the Activate button

3. The Consentmo App Embed will be automatically enabled in the theme settings

5. That's it!

Enabling from the store admin

Below are the steps that you would need to follow if you do it from the store admin dashboard:

1. Navigate to Online Store > Themes

3. Press the Customize button of your current live theme

5. Navigate to App embeds icon on the left of the screen and click on it

7. Locate the Consentmo GDPR Compliance and turn on the app embed.

9. Save the settings

Once this option is ON, the script for the app will be loaded directly from Shopify.

Note that you would need to leave this option ON at all times.

If you would like to turn OFF the cookie banner, you can do it by navigating to the settings of the app > Cookie banner > Show Cookie banner options > Disable.

There is no need to disable the app from the theme in this case.
