Below you can check a reference on the Smart Cookie Policy page functionality from Consentmo GDPR app.

The automated page gives you the option to automated the updates for the trackers in the store, without having to do anything manually there.

What you need to set the page

The page will reflect all new trackers added in the Tracker manager list automatically.

For this to work, we would also recommend having the Scheduled scanning enabled, as well to make sure the page is always up to date.

You can also access the page settings form there as shown below:

Enabling the page

The page can be enabled directly form the Privacy center tab > Cookie policy section

Once you hit the Create page option, you will be taken to the settings of the page explained below.

Setup

The Setup section controls how the Smart Cookie Policy is published, where customers can access it, and which tracker details appear on the page.

Footer link

Use these settings to add the Smart Cookie Policy to your store footer.

• Add link to store footer

Enable this option to automatically add the Cookie Policy page to the selected footer menu.

• Page URL slug

Set the URL used for the Cookie Policy page. This can only be configured during the first publication.

• Footer menu

Choose the Shopify navigation menu where the Cookie Policy link should appear.

• Link text

Set the text displayed in the footer, such as Cookie Policy.

Disclosure

Choose how much information about cookies and other tracking technologies is displayed on the Smart Cookie Policy.

• Default

Displays cookies, pixels, and browser storage in a clear and visitor-friendly format.

• Full transparency

Provides a more detailed disclosure that also includes scripts.

• Custom

Lets you choose exactly which tracker types should appear on the page.

Preview

Use the preview to review how the Smart Cookie Policy will appear on desktop and mobile before publishing it.

Design

The Design section controls the appearance and display behavior of the Smart Cookie Policy.

Color & Styles

Use these settings to match the page with your store’s branding.

• Background

Sets the page background color.

• Text

Sets the color of headings, descriptions, and other page text.

• Button text

Sets the text color inside buttons.

• Button

Sets the button background color.

Display options

Choose which elements visitors see on the Cookie Policy page.

• Show tracker counts

Displays the number of trackers listed in each consent category.

• Expand categories by default

Opens all tracker categories automatically when visitors load the page.

• Show change preferences button

Adds a button that lets visitors reopen the cookie banner and update their choices.

• Show unclassified category

Displays trackers that have not yet been assigned to a consent category.

Custom CSS

Add custom CSS for more advanced styling, such as spacing, borders, widths, or font adjustments.

Content

The Content section lets you customize the text shown on the Smart Cookie Policy page.

Multilingual content

Enable the multilingual page to translate the Cookie Policy into your published Shopify store languages.

Select a language to edit its content. The default store language is marked accordingly.

Page content

Customize the main text displayed at the top of the page.

• Page title

Sets the main heading of the Cookie Policy.

• Introduction

Adds an introductory explanation of how your store uses cookies and similar technologies.

Use the {store} placeholder to insert your store name automatically.

Category descriptions

Customize the short descriptions displayed under each consent category, such as:

• Necessary
• Preferences
• Statistics
• Marketing
• Unclassified, when enabled

All available content can be edited separately for each enabled language.

Who can use the feature

The automated Cookie policy page is an Enteprise plan feature, and can be used by the users subscribed to the latest version of this plan.
