How is the quota calculated?

Understanding how the quota is calculated in our app plans is crucial for efficient usage. It's important to note that the quota limit is based on app impressions, which is distinct from the total number of website visitors. Here's an overview of the quota calculation process:

Each time a customer or a website visitor opens a page in your store, it counts as one app impression. For instance, if a visitor first lands on the Home page and then navigates to a Product page, this would result in two app impressions. This increment occurs because the app loads on each page to consistently maintain the chosen cookie settings, ensuring compliance with the user's preferences across the entire website.

The need to load the app on every page is why the quota is calculated based on page visits rather than unique visitors. This approach ensures that your website remains compliant regardless of the visitor's navigation path through your site.

Our server's usage is based on this traffic and requests coming from the customers and our app is operating on our server's side each time a visitor opens any of your store pages. This is done to ensure correct behavior on the data protection for each customer, guest or registered.

The different plans and their subscription charges are not based only on the count of the app impressions you have available with each one of them.
As you can check in the Upgrades Plan tab in the details for each plan you can see that all of the plans have different features available for the users, and in the past couple of months quite a lot of them were updated and new ones were released as well.
The impressions count is just a part of the overall cost for each plan and the higher price for each upgrade is based mainly on the features and options you are getting, and along with them, respectively - you are receiving more impressions per month.
