How does AdRoll handle consent in stores with TCF enabled?

If your store has TCF (Transparency and Consent Framework) enabled, AdRoll's tracking and consent will be handled automatically based on the user's preferences.

Users who give consent: AdRoll will track them as per the consent provided.

Users who deny consent: AdRoll will not track or collect their data.

Do I need to make additional configurations to stop AdRoll tracking?

If TCF is enabled in your store, no further action is required. AdRoll's tracking will automatically respect the consent preferences users select via the TCF-compliant cookie bar.

However, if TCF is not enabled or you wish to manually stop AdRoll tracking for all users:

Remove AdRoll’s Pixel code from your store's theme.

Notify users of their option to opt out via the AdRoll Opt-Out Page
