Cookie bar still shows after accepting

If the cookie bar continues to appear even after accepting cookies, it's likely due to multiple cookie bars being activated on your site. To resolve this issue, you'll need to deactivate or uninstall any additional cookie consent apps you may have running on your Shopify store. Here's what you need to do:

Check for Multiple Cookie Bars: Go through your installed apps list to ensure that only one cookie consent app is active. If you find more than one, choose the one you prefer (hopefully ours!) and remove the others.

Confirm App Embed Is Enabled: Our app requires the App Embed feature to be turned on within your theme's settings. This ensures that our cookie bar functions correctly and recognizes when someone has accepted cookies. You can find detailed instructions on enabling this feature in our helpful article:
App Embed Integration for Consentmo GDPR App.

Check for Leftover Code: In some cases, uninstalling another cookie bar app might leave residual code in your theme files, which could cause the cookie bar to reappear. To fix this, you'll need to manually search for and remove any leftover code snippets related to the old cookie consent app.

Reach Out for Support: If you're having difficulty locating and removing leftover code or if you have any concerns about ensuring that only one cookie bar is active, our support team is here to help. You can contact us through the live chat feature on your browser's bottom-right corner or by emailing support@consentmo.com. Our team is committed to helping you maintain a seamless and compliant user experience on your store.

By following these steps, you should be able to prevent the cookie bar from showing up after users have already accepted cookies, thus ensuring a smooth and non-intrusive browsing experience for your customers.
