First steps with our app - Getting started
If you need assistance with setting up the app, and get it up and running in the store, please make sure to check the below guide, explaining each step of the initial Consentmo GDPR setup.
App embed activation - First, and foremost, you need to make sure that the app is enabled in the current theme of the store. To do this you please follow the steps in the video guide here:
Configure Shopify Customer Privacy settings - The second step of the initial setup of our app, is dedicated to the compliance setup in the store admin Settings. From there you can ensure that all customer privacy settings available in Shopify, are set correctly and working for your compliance.
Once these are set, via the Shopify Customer Privacy API that our app is fully integrated with, you will ensure that these settings will correspond to the set up you have in the app as well. Which leads us to the next step of the guide.
Cookie bar setup - From this option, you will be redirected to the Consent banner tab where you can adjust the Content of the cookie bar and it's elements, also set the Behavior for some of the buttons that you have on it.
You can also use some of the cool premium features which our app have available for you in the Content, Design, Widget, Behavior, Adaptive Mobile Experience sections. More on these can be found in the articles below:

Check your cookie bar in the store - by proceeding with this option you will be redirected directly to the store front where you will be able to check the cookie bar live and running in the store.
