Microsoft UET Consent Mode Integration - Legacy

We've released a brand new, better integration for Microsoft Consent Mode.

Our legacy integration will still continue to work as expected, but we recommend upgrading to our new, streamlined version for a simpler setup and more reliable tracking.

How to migrate?

The only thing you need to do is to remove the extra added code in your theme, which was previously added from the Integration steps for the Old Integration section below ⬇️

Once this is done, you can contact support so they can help you set up the new integration or refer to the new integration guide here:

If you decide to migrate to the new integration without the help of our support, just let them know at support@consentmo.com or via our chat line that th migration is complete so they can remove the prompt for the migration from your store.

Integration steps for the Old Integration

The steps in the guide are applicable only if you have already been in the app settings and followed the previous steps from the integration, as shown below:

Paste the generated script in the <head> section of the theme.liquid file

Save the changes

NOTE: Remove or comment out any previously added Microsoft UET integration script, as it is shown in the below reference

The final result should look like this:

NOTE: Make sure to remove the added code before deleting the app. This way, no snippets of code will be left in your theme. For more information on what you should be aware of when deleting our app check this article of our FAQ page.
