The Cookie bar content is gone. How can I fix this?

If you are in a process of adding or removing any elements from the Cookie bar or preferences popup text content, and at some point, after saving these changes the Cookie bar appears like this:




You can navigate to the Settingstab > Language & Translations and use the Refresh Metafields button as shown here:
