Understanding the Analytics Section in the Consentmo App

The Analytics section in the Consentmo GDPR app provides an overview of how your visitors interact with your cookie banner and privacy tools. It helps you monitor consent performance, track DSAR (Data Subject Access Requests) activity, and analyze user behavior by country and device.

Metrics Overview (Top Section)


Metric

Description

Impressions

The number of times the cookie banner was displayed to visitors.

Interactions

The number of users who took an action on the banner (e.g., clicked Accept All).

Consent Rate

The percentage of users who accepted all cookies compared to total interactions.

Accepted All

Number of users who accepted all categories of cookies.

Rejected All

Number of users who rejected all cookies.

Partially Accepted

Number of users who selected only specific cookie categories.

📌 Note: A 0% consent rate may indicate that visitors are either ignoring the banner or only partially accepting cookies.



Filter by Date Range


You can adjust the reporting period using the date filter in the top right corner:


  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • Last 7 days (default)
  • Last 30 days
  • Custom range


Use this to compare engagement and consent trends over different time periods.



Additional Insights (Available on Plus and Enterprise Plans Only)


The following sections are available to merchants on the Plus and Enterprise plans and provide deeper insights into user behavior and compliance:


Country Analytics


Displays how consent interactions are distributed by country. Each country shows the acceptance rate and number of interactions.



Device Analytics


Breaks down consent actions by device type:


  • Desktop
  • Mobile
  • Tablet


You can compare how visitors on different devices interact with your banner.

In this example, 100% of interactions came from desktop users.



Banner Layer Analytics


Shows data about banner visibility:


  • Cookie banner display rate – How often the banner was shown relative to visits.


  • Cookie banner preferences display rate – How often users opened the preferences layer to manage consent.


Example:


  • Cookie banner: 97.56% display rate


  • Cookie banner preferences: 2.44% display rate



Users Most Accepted On


Lists of specific pages where users most frequently accepted cookies.

This can help you understand which URLs generate the most consent activity.


Example:

DSAR Distribution


This section tracks the number of user-initiated requests for specific privacy actions:

Requests for a copy of user data

Account deletes

Requests to delete user data

Account Requests

General data access requests

Account orders

Data related to customer orders

Account Do Not Sell

Opt-out of data selling requests (CCPA-related)

If the count remains at 0, it means no DSARs were submitted during the selected date range.



Acceptance Rate by Hour (Last 24 Hours)


Displays a chart of acceptance activity over the past 24 hours.

This helps you identify peak times when users interact with your banner the most.
