Understanding the Analytics Section in the Consentmo App

The Analytics dashboard in the Consentmo GDPR app provides valuable insights into how your store visitors interact with your Cookie banner and data privacy tools.


This section updates automatically every 6 hours and helps store owners monitor compliance performance and user behavior.


Metrics Overview (Top Section)


Metric

Description

Impressions

The number of times the cookie banner was displayed to visitors.

Interactions

The number of users who took an action on the banner (e.g., clicked Accept All).

Consent Rate

The percentage of users who accepted all cookies compared to total interactions.

Accepted All

Number of users who accepted all categories of cookies.

Rejected All

Number of users who rejected all cookies.

Partially Accepted

Number of users who selected only specific cookie categories.

📌 Note: A 0% consent rate may indicate that visitors are either ignoring the banner or only partially accepting cookies.



Filter by Date Range


By default, the analytics data can be filtered by:


  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days


Use this to compare engagement and consent trends over different time periods.



Additional Insights (Available on Plus and Enterprise Plans Only)


The following sections are available to merchants on the Plus and Enterprise plans and provide deeper insights into user behavior and compliance:


DSAR Distribution


This section tracks the number of user-initiated requests for specific privacy actions:

Requests to delete personal data

Account Do Not Sell

Requests to opt out of data selling (CCPA-related)

If the count remains at 0, it means no DSARs were submitted during the selected date range.



Users Most Accepted On


Shows which pages users were on when they accepted cookies:


  • / → Homepage
  • /policies/privacy-policy → Your privacy policy page


This insight helps you understand where banner interactions occur most frequently.



Top Locations


Displays the countries where users most commonly interacted with the banner.

This can help you track GDPR compliance and audience demographics.


Example:

  • Germany – 10 interactions



Device Distribution


Shows what type of device users were on when interacting with the Cookie Banner:


  • Mobile
  • Tablet
  • Desktop


This helps ensure your banner is responsive and optimized across devices.
